Our nursery has two spacious and well-resourced gardens which enable the children to explore and develop their gross motor skills.
The under twos have their own garden to ensure that the resources and activities are age-appropriate.
Activities
The larger two and above garden gives opportunities to run, jump and skip, as well as investigation. The children can explore the natural logs for balancing skills, use the bikes and scooters, help to grow the flowers and vegetables and access the art area to help develop their imagination.
Outdoor Learning
We believe that the outdoor classroom is as important as the indoor environment and should be used in conjunction with any activities that are facilitated for the children.
